Friday, October 21 a beautiful blessing entered our home. She was given the name
MARILEE RICHARDS
Well that baby has grown up so fast that we can't believe that she is now 13!!!
Where has the time gone?
So here are some things that we have discovered about Marilee in the last 13 years!
She LOVES animals! Especially, her two "fluffy bunnies" named Baskin and Robbins.
She is our social butterfly. She loves to visit people (as long as they have a pet or two)
Her nickname at home is Mar (pronounced - mare).
Every night we all wish her a good "night- mar".
Her favorite color is pink.
She loves fruity sugary candy.
Her greatest dream is to own and ride a horse.
She is in 8th grade.
She is always smiling.
Here is her favorite scripture:
"For my soul delighteth in the song of the heart; yea, the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads."

She wanted a Halloween theme for her birthday!
So between decorating the inside of our van with orange lights, and Dad carving this pumpkin I think Marilee was happy with her Halloween Birthday!
Bright and early in the morning we all piled into our van and drove to Omaha to spend the day with Covey, Melody and Mack.
After decorating the room and getting lunch ready Marilee found her presents and the party began.

Even Mack enjoyed the party.
After a delicious lunch of french dip, Marilee wanted to walk across the Missouri River on this fantastic bridge.
A couple months ago we tried to go on the bridge but it was closed because of the flooding problem, but to Marilee's relief it has finally been opened again. It is a fascinating masterpiece of construction.
In the middle of the bridge we were able to stand in both Nebraska and Iowa at the same time.
It was a beautiful day and the weather was perfect.
Mack loves Grandma and Grandpa!!!
He is growing up way too fast.
It was a very very fun day for all of us but especially for Marilee.
